Our Story
Welcome to The Anchor Church! Our journey began in November 2011 when Pastors Johnathan and Victoria Green arrived in Beaumont, Texas. Back then, we were known as New Life Tabernacle. In the spring of 2012, we relaunched as The Anchor of Beaumont and began plans to construct a new sanctuary.
Our Beginning:
When Johnathan and Victoria first came to Beaumont, they dreamed of a church with a simple goal—a church that loved God by loving people. Since then, we’ve focused on reaching out to the non-churched community with the life-giving message of the Gospel. We believe that God is at work at The Anchor, and we’re excited to see how He transforms lives every day.

Our mission is simple: Love God. Love People. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels Wanted, Accepted, and Loved. No matter your story, questions, doubts, or struggles, you are welcome here.

A Warm Welcome
From the parking lot to the sanctuary, our friendly team will be there to greet you and answer any questions you might have. We are a community of people with imperfect, messy lives, but we are pursuing a transforming relationship with Jesus. No matter your background or where you are on your spiritual journey, you are Wanted, Accepted, and Loved here.
Engaging Worship
Our services feature contemporary worship music led by our talented worship team. We encourage everyone to join in as we lift our voices and hearts to God. Whether you prefer to sing along or reflect quietly, you’re welcome to worship in a way that feels comfortable to you.
Relevant Teaching
Each message is designed to help you grow in your understanding of God’s Word and how it applies to your daily life. Our pastors deliver sermons that are biblically grounded and relevant to the challenges we face today.
Family-Friendly Environment
We offer dedicated programs for children and youth during our services. Your kids will love Anchor Kids, where they can learn about God’s love in a fun and engaging way. Our Torrent Students program provides a place for middle and high school students to connect and grow.
